ACCPAC

Accpac is releasing a new Product called the Discovery Series. It is a 32 Bit fully Integrated System Manager/General Ledger/Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. It is a striped down version of the Small Business Series and about half the price. In fact it is a special price until the end of March, only $1995 Cdn. There is a Multi Currency module and Canadian Payroll module will be available soon. After that the price will be $2295. It will allow up to three users with 2 additional Lanpaks at $350 each. If you need any info or specs, I would be happy to fax/email them to you. There are quite a few new Ptf’s available for both the Dos and Windows Products. Please check your system to be sure you are using the most up to date patches. Remember if you upgrade one of your core modules you may also need to upgrade any of your add-ons and Third Party products. Effective Feb 00 all clients who are on SupportPlus will be allowed to download their own Ptf’s from the web. You will be required to get a logon and password and are still HIGHLY advised to get a QI to install or set them up for you. All of the Windows products should be 32 bit by the summer and Accpac will no longer be developing 16-bit code for any of its products. Accpac Plus General Ledger 7.0 is now shipping and there are some nice new features like 2 years of history and Cross Modular Drill down. The Multi Currency Module also works with the Small Business Series. It retails for $1000 Cdn.

Whether you want to get your own domain name or simply use the free one that comes with your Internet dial in account, you should set something up to let people know what you do and where you are located. OTHER STUFF

I am still trying to sell my Doral 17’8” boat. It is in good condition and would be perfect for a small lake or river. It will fit 6 people and you can safely ski or tube with it. It has a 175 I/O Merc. Cruiser engine and comes with a trailer. All this for only $6000. I am willing to negotiate.
